We left Tucumcari on Rte66 heading East.
After a few hours road just suddenly disappeared below us and we found ourselves on a wet, muddy dirt road. Was no fun. We had to go back on the interstate at the first chance.
On the way To Amarillo we made a breakfast stop at Russell’s Truck & Travel Center and we visited Cadillac Ranch.
We had to hurry up a bit, we did not want to miss the Monday livestock auction. Here they bid on cattle and the audience is mostly cowboys.
